Mesotherapy

In mesotherapy, active ingredients and medication are put together individually for you. The injection with very fine and short needles is carried out directly into the area to be treated and into acupuncture and reaction points. The effect is achieved here by the locally injected drug, but also by the needling itself. The blood flow is increased, the oxygen supply to the tissue is improved and endorphins and anti-inflammatory drugs are released. The administered substances only have a local effect in the area of the injection, but are not distributed further in the body via the bloodstream. Therefore, mesotherapy is particularly well tolerated and has almost no side effects on the entire organism.

Mesotherapy from professionals

In our practice we offer a highly effective mesotherapy, which has proven its worth for back pain and rheumatic diseases, among other things. For this we use fine, short needles or use a special gun to make injections. The drugs and active ingredients are individually tailored to you in order to achieve the best possible results. We inject them precisely into the area of the skin where health problems occur.

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive method that combines the basics of acupuncture with those of neural therapy and drug therapy. In general, one can say that it uses the principle of reflex zones.

Mesotherapy is also characterized by a gentle mode of action, which is achieved by the medication and the needling itself. By treating the skin area with needles, blood circulation is stimulated and the oxygen supply to the tissue is optimized. In addition, endorphins and anti-inflammatory substances are released. We use needles to administer substances that primarily act locally in the area of the injection. However, they are distributed throughout the body via the bloodstream.

Mode of action and areas of application of mesotherapy

Mesotherapy works by injecting various active ingredients locally into the body. Added to this is the positive physical effect of needling. For the micro-injection we are looking for specific acupuncture. And reaction points into which we introduce a skin depot of active ingredients. These are gradually released via the skin depot and further distributed via the bloodstream.

In our practice we use mesotherapy for back pain, arthrosis and rheumatic diseases. But mesotherapy is also helpful for sports injuries and stress-related pain as well as headaches and migraines.

The combination of medicines, vitamins and herbal products that are injected into the body is decisive for the effect. Depending on the mixture, they reinforce and complement each other in an advantageous way. Since the active ingredients are introduced into the organism in an extremely concentrated manner, the amounts of active ingredients are rather small, but they are very effective.

The stitches themselves are only a few millimeters deep. They regulate the body's defences, as they stimulate the skin's immune cells, and increase the blood flow and oxygen supply to the skin area. In addition, the body's own endorphins and anti-inflammatory substances are released through needling.

The needling also stimulates the microcirculation, which results in highly effective diffusion processes. This allows the active ingredients to reach the diseased area and deeper tissue structures. There are hardly any side effects with mesotherapy because it is particularly gentle thanks to the low doses of active ingredients. Even children and pregnant women benefit from this very gentle and effective treatment method.

The history of mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a treatment method originally from France. It was invented by the French doctor Michel Pistor, who lived from 1924 to 2003. The therapy method was first mentioned as a term in 1958 and has been a real triumph since then. It has become established and developed worldwide. The various mesotherapy societies that can now be found in many countries are largely responsible for this.

The word meso comes from the Greek and refers to the mesoderm. It arises in the third week of human development as the middle germ layer. In the further course of development, skin and connective tissue are formed from it – precisely those areas of the body that mesotherapy is aimed at. Mesotherapy is sometimes also called matrix therapy, since it has both local and regulatory effects on the entire organism.

We would be happy to check whether mesotherapy is an option for your symptoms and carry out an individual preliminary examination and diagnosis. We look forward to hearing from you and will advise you in detail on mesotherapy if you wish!
